Welcome

I’m John-Paul. I’m a writer and artist. I live in London.

I work at the intersection of story, art, incl drawing and painting, and performance.

Creative self-expression is a route to insight, confidence, and transformation – for me and for others.

I help people find a voice, and make a mark.

Seven books, in 16 languages: fiction, illustrated poetry, memoir and non-fiction.

Worked for years as a journalist, magazine writer and editor on the Financial Times and the Sunday Times.

Trained in classical rhetoric and theatrical improvisation.
