Nina has left Substack.
(“Shocker!”, as she put it in the subtitle of, presumably, her last post there.)
From now on you can find her, being herself on a website of her own, no longer needing to play the kinds of games that make you show up well on someone else’s platform, the kinds of games she played aged 19 (she reveals) to win Customer Service Agent of the Month, every month.
And that’s fun for a while, but who wants to win a prize when the game itself has lost all appeal?
I’d like there to be at least one place where I can write who I am, she writes.
