I first set up this website in 2003. At least, I think so, but it could have been earlier. Before Facebook, anyway, and LinkedIn, and Twitter and all that stuff.
I used it as a place to save my newspaper and magazine stories, because at that time, believe it or not, they weren’t published online. Then I starting blogging more generally.
As I put it in 2015, looking back a few years, my topics were authenticity, change-making, connection, curiosity, creativity, collaboration, getting things done, happiness, and the pursuit of meaning – in both our working and our private lives.
Sometimes I post about things that happened to me. Sometimes about other people. To avoid breaching confidence, I often check with the people who appear in the posts to see that they’re happy with what I write. Even then, I may change identifying details.
