"Interview With A Holocaust Survivor"

Drawing of two seated women speaking to each other across a coffee table.

Barbara Frankiss (on the right) gave an interview describing how, as a young child, she hid from the Nazis in a narrow space for months on end.

Her only entertainment was to draw in the dust with a wet finger.

Her mother was shot, she was taken in by another family, and eventually reunited with her father.

I drew this while watching the interview.
