Last week the first batch of printed copies was due to land on my doorstep. And ​on Friday they did arrive: 90 hardbacks, on good paper, stitch-bound not glued.

As I mentioned previously, the back cover of the book itself ​has a misprint in the quote I was generously given by Rhik Samadder.

I’m grateful to readers who got in touch expressing hope that their own copy might feature this memorable mistake.

And I can confirm that Rhik’s quote appears without misspelling on the wraparound dust jacket.

But as soon as I opened the first box and pulled out the first copy I instantly realised there was ​a different problem with the dust jacket.

Not something I could have predicted.

I’ve been onto the printer to fix it.
