What worries you about printing?
For the people already booked on Micro-Memoir: two questions about printing.
Transcript
Hello, this is John-Paul, and this is a message to people who’ve already signed up to the Micro-Memoir course.
You know who you are – hello. But I’m posting it publicly to my website, because I might want to point other people to the same question.
And the thing is that I know that, well, two of the people who’ve signed up – I know that you have some concerns about how to print.
And that’s definitely something that we’ll cover in the course, and I’ve been working this week on something I could send you before the course even starts.
But I wondered if you could give me any sense of what exactly might your concern be with the printing.
Because one thing to tell you about it is, very simply, in a nutshell: printing your book, your 40-something page book, will involve putting together a simple PDF file.
And that may be something that means nothing to you, or it may be something you’ve done many times before. So it’d be helpful to me to know where you stand on that.
And it would also be helpful for me to know whether you use Apple products, which I do, and so they’re easier for me to explain – or other things like Windows or Google Chrome-y sort of things that I’m not so sure about, but I will find out about. So just to know what your technology is would be helpful.
And also to get a sense of what you’re worried about when it comes to printing.
Thank you very much for listening to this very short message. And if you’re not one of the people who signed up, but you’ve sneaked in to listen to this message – well, you’re welcome to. Thank you. Bye.
