Hi Michael. Sorry for the late message. I hope your notifications are turned off. I just thought I’d say thank you so much for your email. Really appreciate it.

And yeah, disappointed though I am about the group, I had another idea off the back of what you said actually, which was – what you said in your email, I mean – which was I wonder if I could interview you for this little idea I’ve got simmering away in the back of my mind for a very short time.

A very short, initially short series of very short interviews based on exchanging voice messages in WhatsApp. So I’m going to keep this to less than one minute and send another one in one second. Hang on.

So my thinking is, if I send you all together five questions, one at a time, and you just talk, like spontaneously, and keep the messages, keep your replies pretty short, don’t have to be one minute, but like really quite short, then I would have, I’ll be able to stitch together a picture of what you’re up to.

And you could talk about whatever you like. You could talk about the awards, or you could talk about the writing, or neither. Obviously, you don’t have to do this at all. But I think it would be quite a good experiment, and it would be quite fun, and it would be quite a nice way to have at least a momentary replacement for this group idea.

Anyway, let me know what you think. What I’m basically saying is, I would like to interview you with five questions via WhatsApp. I’ll send them to you one at a time, and you reply if you like, and if you’re not happy with what you’ve done, I won’t use them. Simple as that.
