People sometimes ask me what “speccy” means, in the title of my new book.
So I made a short animation on my phone, in which my spectacles twirl gracefully in a circle, clockwise, with the arms opening then closing and finally the whole thing flipping face-forwards, and stopping as if to eyeball the viewer, with a pencil slipping in below.
