Easy to get a bit solemn about the subject of my new book.
But also: I made a book! That never stops being fun.
I wrote the words! I drew the pictures! I did the layout! I did it all, this time.
Was something I’d been thinking of doing for ages and then in February an author friend announced that she was going to release a few self published books on Amazon. I was inspired to publish this in 30 days.
I finished the interior in that time but the rest has taken longer.
I’m actually really chuffed. I think it’s quite good (British understatement).
Not available on Amazon or at Waterstones or Daunt Books. Only from me, via my website – for now, anyway.
The book is about a difficult time in my life but this has been top fun. Yet another proof I suppose, for people who think life isn’t worth living, that it CAN get better.
