Yeah, so sending you WhatsApp reminds me that there was a time a little while ago when we were sending each other WhatsApp messages, and I thought it would be a really good format for a little thing that I just dreamed up, and it’s probably yet another bonkers idea that I need to think through more carefully beforehand.

But anyway, I just thought I’d try it, like to do a really short interview with you by sending you questions on WhatsApp, and then you can reply to each one with a really short reply, and then I don’t know quite how I’ll put it all together, but I wondered if that would be a thing, like would that be an okay idea to interview you on WhatsApp?

So let’s say my questions are really short, way under a minute, and your answers are not much more than a minute, I mean about a minute, so then the whole thing is only about five minutes, and it’s just voice notes, and I think the whole format of doing voice note interviews could be quite fun. Oh, look, nearly a minute…

I came in just under a minute there, 59 seconds, the other one over spilled. Yeah, no, the one minute limit isn’t that important, but I do like the fact that you sent me some good voice notes not that long ago, and you would be a great person to interview.

I can tell you what the questions are, if I can work out how to copy and paste, I wrote them in my phone thingamibob. And I’ll copy and paste the kind of questions I have in mind.

No, maybe I won’t, because then that will tell you what I’m going to ask. Not that they’re earth-shattering, but I’d quite like the chance for you just to reply to them one at a time.

But I’m not going to ask you anything now, because you haven’t even said you’re up for doing it. But if you thought it was a good idea, it’d be great to do it with you as an experiment, a sample, a first-ever effort.

And if you could find a relatively quiet place to record short WhatsApp messages five times, then it could work, and it would be very low difficulty… 58, 59!
