Recently I was inspired by someone writing about the sheer density of hypertext – how much can be packed into a short piece of text because the links take you to something else, which amplifies it.
I’ve also recently be using links as a way to smuggle pictures into otherwise text-led stories. The picture pops up but goes nowhere – viewers just click “back” to keep reading.
AND I’ve been experimenting with lots of Alt Text on links, as yet another way to pack more information into a shortish text. Unfortunately, the Alt Text isn’t viewable on my phone, only on my desktop computer. I daresay there’s a setting, somewhere to change that. If you know, please tell me!
