Church Walk in the pink
At the back of my house, there’s a church. I’ve lived here for quite a long time, more than 20 years, which means that I’ve heard the one-bell, tuneless summons to worship at All Saints many, many times.
Thanks to Covid, it stopped ringing for months on end.
I missed the sound, and I missed popping into church occasionally. More importantly, closure gravely reduced church income – income that’s as sorely needed as the food parcels collected and distributed by Father Robin and the congregation.
To help raise funds, I drew pictures of Church Walk (scroll down to see the others). And for six months all profits from sales of those prints went to All Saints.
There were just ten copies of each picture. I still have a few.
Each print is numbered and signed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
