A Speccy Man Has A Breakdown - day 16
The part where I work out postage
I wish never to be boring, but today I must tell you about postage, sorry about that.
I’d much rather write a book about having a breakdown than work out how to buy the right number of right-sized envelopes that will also accommodate the A5 art print, without allowing it to get bent.
Here’s what I have been peering at on Amazon this morning:

Add to that the mild complexity of calculating slight differences in shipping fees for people living in the UK, Canada, Malta, Singapore (and perhaps elsewhere) and I’m basically done for.
But no: I’m being very resolute today.
I have calculated that in the UK sending a book that will weigh less than 500g costs just under £3, including packaging. To ship the same thing to other territories costs approximately £14 to £16.
Wherever you are, to buy the book:
Please send me your delivery address by email
(Even if I have it already.)
I’ll then reply by email with my bank details and the exact amount to cover everything, including shipping.
UPDATE: Since posting this, I’ve created payment links. See day 19.
Thank you.
At the time of writing, there are only (ha!) 224 copies of this magnificent book available. If you know someone who might want one, or just find this project interesting, feel free to pass this along.
