He was interviewed on Newsnight yesterday, in a report that also featured a veterinary surgeon who was shot and badly injured helping protestors; but escaped, like this man, over the border into Kurdish Iraq.
I drew fast. The man on the TV was more handsome than this – but I think the drawing successfully captures his desperation.
