“Redstone Press HQ” | Artist In Residence report

This is the HQ of Redstone Press.

I spent part of a day there – in October, drawing Julian Rothenstein at work.

While I was there, I made many quick drawings. This seems to create a kind of muscle-memory that comes in useful later.

I also took lots of reference photos, to use singly or combined into a collage.

Later, I referred to the photos to make drawings. Some, like the one above, on paper.
