Postcards from the edge #9 Sketches from my breakdown <<Previous View this post on Instagram “Boohoo I can’t stop here!” . Thanks all discerning art fiends who bought postcards, prints etc to raise funds for Woman’s Trust. . Total profits so far = £461. Of that, I’m giving 50% to the excellent charity named above, and feeding/sheltering me/mine with the remaining loot. . Extremely grateful for all the kind words about my drawings, and my breakdown. . But I don’t want to be Mr Mental Health forever and shall lay off that topic for a while after Mental Health Awareness Month ends (tonight). . I’ll be shredding the remaining postcards (yup!), and withdrawing rest of the mental-health related images from sale. . I’m sure you agree that Woman’s Trust could do with more than £250, and at the moment I haven’t even reached that paltry sum. Oh dear oh dear. . It’s time for one last heave-ho, to get the donation up a bit. Gang, you know what to do. (DM me, for a start.) . Oh, and just because Mental Health Awareness Month is ending, that doesn’t mean everybody is suddenly feeling well. . If you feel depressed, anxious, or at rock bottom – talk to somebody. If you get emotional, like me in this sketch, that’s OK. In fact, it’s probably good. . . . . . . . . #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #depression #anxiety #therapy #arttherapy #artforsale #sketch #sketching #drawing #ink #waxcrayon #watercolour #artistsoninstagram #instaart #artistsofinstagram #artonapostcard #postcard #crying #cryingman #humantouch #touch #tears #sobbing #kindness #dontwanttobemrmentalhealthforever A post shared by John-Paul Flintoff (@jpflintoff) on May 31, 2020 at 6:40am PDT Next: Postcards from the edge #10 >>
