To be perfectly honest: this is not a “Magnolia of Hampstead”.
I drew it in Dorset.
Specifically, a back garden in Burton Bradstock.
Started it in 2019 and finished it in 2023.
I drew the original, scanned it into my iPad, drew all over it there, ordered a fine art print and then painted all over THAT.
The painting appears as a full-page illustration in my book Psalms For The City (pic 3).
It’s been on the wall leading to my office for three years.
Now it’s going to a new home.
SOLD
Original A2 painting of a magnolia in Dorset.
Included in my solo show “Magnolias of Hampstead” despite its exotic true-life location.
