Recently I drew a picture of something posted by on Instagram by Marianne Power: one of many photos of, essentially, the same thing – the view from a window – but always slightly different because light and the seasons keep changing.
The finished image pleased Marianne and she shared it and now someone who saw it on her feed has bought a print of my drawing.
As you can read for yourself, the buyer tells me the drawing reminded her of the powerful sense of community created by Marianne during the worst of Covid.

It makes such a difference to someone putting art into the world if you share it, as Marianne did.
