We started in Cornwall. The place where we stayed was close to this church, built right into the side of a hill to protect it from the weather.
We had a view of the Marconi station on the top of the next headland. It was from there that the great Italian-born radio wizard first sent morse code to Newfoundland.
If you go even further in that direction, you arrive at Mullion Cove. We had tea, including (for me) a scone, at Porthmellin Cafe.
