I wrote a book in 30 days. Yours might take no longer

In March, over about 30 days, I wrote A Speccy Man Has A Breakdown. Then I published it.

I’m running the Micro-Memoir course again in August, on the same rhythm: daily prompts by email over 30 days, aiming at a shortish book (48 pages) about a part of your life.

Not the whole life but a slice you can hold in one hand.

As we go along, I’ll share case studies including a new one: what actually happened when I wrote Speccy Breakdown, and what came after, because I learned a lot doing it.

If you want to see whether it’s for you, come to a free Zoom:

When: Monday 27 July, 6pm
Length: 60 minutes or less
Here’s the Zoom link.

(If someone’s just come to mind who ought to see this, please forward it.)

Circular blurry photo of John-Paul Flintoff, looking right. Warm yellow stripes across top and bottom, and handwritten "Yours Truly" in electric blue, with arrows pointing to sketched self-portraits on wall and on T-shirt

PS. The course starts on Monday 3 August.
Doors close the night before, at 9pm.
