FT Festival at Kenwood House

Last summer, I went to the Financial Times Festival at Kenwood House.

I made a picture of the whole scene, from outside. Nearby, event staff milled around at the back of a marquee, chatting and smoking cigarettes.

A group of white-shirted, black-trousered staff chatting behind a marquee with Kenwood House in background.

It was funny to be presented with the event’s backside, as it were, including this rather lovely yellow JCB.

A bright yellow JCB tractor parked behind a marquee.

As I worked, I listened to a discussion in the large tent on the bottom right, between the paper’s editor Roula Khalaf and the author Yuval Noah Harari.
