“Magnolias of Hampstead”

back to overview

Solo show, 18-23 February 2025
Burgh House, New End Square, London NW3

This exhibition was designed as a foretaste of spring.

I put together 27 pictures I have made over the last few years, showing one of the first trees to flower in my part of north London.

I love the slow-but-steady swell of the magnolia buds, and I watch with great excitement as they suddenly flash their great prehistoric lightbulbs.
