Steve Chapman wanted to do something very odd again, and asked me to film him doing it.

Previously, he launched his first book by busking on the South Bank. This time, he was offering to draw people’s portraits in Trafalgar Square – but not the kind of portraits you usually get there. “It’s vaguely familiar,” Steve says of his work. “It looks like a person, but there’s something not quite right about it.”
I’m very pleased with my own portrait, which he kindly stuck on at the end, in the credits. It does me proud.
