A Secret Page

This request came to me by email this week – by an extraordinary coincidence, because I have only just agreed a date with The Idler Academy to run another book-making course, and set up a Pinterest board showing pictures of some of my handmade books.

On receiving the request, I sent my correspondent a scan from the pages of one of my favourite books, “Making Handmade Books: 100+ bindings, structures and forms”, by Alisa Golden.
I felt a bit bad doing that, so I added a strong recommendation that my correspondent also buy the book, which is full of wonders:
