Two National Trust Gardens | Art #wip

Drew these on a short break from London. They’re not particularly close to each other. But we like the National Trust, and it’s a great time of year to be in a garden.

Part of the reason for my drawing these was to write an article for The Observer Magazine about one of those National Trust Gardens, Hidcote in Gloucestershire.

The Trust took over Hidcote 75 years ago. It was the first property to be acquired specifically because of its garden.
