Most artists eventually find themselves in front of an audience, needing to say a few words.
And (like other humans) many artists dread that.

If you are an artist, and you would like to face those occasions with confidence, please join me for a one-day, live and in-person course in central London.
You’ll learn the essential theory, which I wrote into A Modest Book About How To Make An Adequate Speech (Short Books, 2021).
And you’ll have the chance to practise – using exercises from improvisational theatre. (Not compulsory, but I bet you will love them.)

Where: Changing Room Gallery, Soho, London
When: Thursday 5 May 2022, 10am to 5pm
Group Size: 12 people (max).
Fee: £180 (total) payable in advance
I’m charging less than other one-day speaking courses in London, because I know artists don’t generally have oodles of cash.
We’ll provide refreshments, but not lunch.

Postscript: If you can’t live without watching me talk about the commissioned work I did yesterday – the bit I accelerated through in the video higher up this page – well, you can watch all four minutes of it here.
