In November, I went to see Richard Ratcliffe on hunger strike, and I drew pictures of him, not knowing what else to do.
He was protesting at the government’s failure to secure the release of his wife Nazanin.
Some very generous people paid to get the drawings printed as postcards and also took the trouble to write on them to more than 60 MPs.
I planned to get the drawings framed to display in West Hampstead, where the family live, to help promote the cause.
Happily, I was too slow! After six years she is coming home.
