Commission A Picture Of Your Home

For yourself, or as a present

I draw people’s homes to create a lasting memory of a place that has great meaning to them.

I started doing it to please myself, as a thank you to friends after staying with them. I continue doing it because I love seeing how happy the pictures can make them.

Exteriors

Love love love my picture. I can feel its healing properties from across the room.
Ms C.P., journalist

“A thousands thanks. What a touching and moving image of my old house. It meant an awful lot to me, and my siblings with whom I shared it.” – Ms A.K.

How It Works

Usually, my drawings are created with ink on paper, often with watercolour or gouache, and finished digitally. Where possible, I draw from life, but with Covid I’ve increasingly worked from photos and films.

With commissions, I like to have a conversation beforehand, and when the work is nearly finished I share it with you to ask if there are particular things you might like added or changed before it is printed onto textured Hahnemuhle paper with archival ink.

Typically, the prints are A3 (420mm x 297mm).

“I love it… so delicate and yet so confident. I have a special place for it.” – Ms J.R.
