Inspired by Tom of Holland (again) I decided to make an entirely visible repair. It didn’t take long.
In the process, I stopped disliking this holey napkin and started wanting always to have it for myself, because through my work on it it had Become Special.
Next time something gets holey, why don’t you try it?
And another thing
Just for a bit of balance, I recently did a bit of (nearly) invisible mending on a torn part of a shirt. When the button is actually done up, you can hardly see it.
