On taking risks

It's worth taking risks, and it's OK not to know how it will turn out

Recently I had a conversation with somebody, about things that really matter to him – and at one point he mentioned his father.

I asked what his father, if he had been with us at that moment, might have advised in connection with a certain problem.

He paused, thought for a moment – and the advice fell from his mouth with startling certainty.

So I wrote the words down. And I have to say: it looks like good advice to me.

What advice can you imagine your parents giving you right now?
