When you are being creative, you are free.
This beautiful idea, which I first learned from the Dutch writer Johan Huizinga, is something I love to see when I'm running workshops.
In this training workshop, I asked participants to do some role play. It was mildly competitive, and the man giving me the high-five had just beaten me at it. He did it so nicely, I couldn't stop myself laughing.
People often fear role-play, because it pushes them to the limits of their comfort. But that's part of being creative too. The freedom and the fear are closely related.
