Sunday service on Facebook, from the Vicar’s home

Facebook live, from the study in the vicarage

I was just now watching a Sunday morning service, broadcast live from the study of the vicar’s house.

At this time of self-isolation, with the church empty and dark (but for a single candle), Father Jeremy said he was put in mind of the lamentations of Jeremiah, yearning to see Jerusalem again.

At least, I think it was Jeremiah. I haven’t checked.

Father Jeremy also talked about Lazarus being raised from the dead. That’s the bit I sketched, while I was watching.

If I was in church, I might sing.

At home, I sketch.
